The Ardastra Gardens & Wildlife Conservation Centre is a peaceful retreat spread over 4 acres of lush tropical gardens.
Ardastra specializes in bird rescue & rehabilitation, education, preservation of history and conservation of natural resources. Ardastra is home to many native species of plants and animals – including the Bahamas National Bird, the beautiful and exotic Caribbean Flamingo. Reservations are required and can be made on www.ardastra.com. Currently, we’re only open to the general public on weekends. Private bookings are available by request on weekdays. Visit our website for details. To maximize enjoyment, we also encourage our guests to schedule their visits around our Signature Showtimes: 10:30am, 1:30pm or 3:00pm.

Seeing all the different animals that are indigenous to the bahamas, also learning about other animals was a learning experience I didn’t know I needed.
