While small businesses around the world continue to fail, mass retailers are growing. It is now familiar to see storefronts closing out, vacant spaces, and most small businesses moving predominately online to save money. Today’s era is headed in the direction of more brands and less stores. With the world ever changing and turning digital it is important that we protect Bahamian brands, local and small businesses. The experience and shopping is personal and authentic because Local and small businesses are owned and operated by your family, friends and neighbors.

Understand the economical impact and consequences every time we shop online or do not support Bahamian brands and businesses. Supporting our own allows us to create more jobs for Bahamians. This help to circulate the money in the economy.

We have the power to purchase consciously and when we must become consumers of our own brand and communities. Here are ways we can alter thinking and replicate our pride and support brands and businesses that helps us to thrive.

When we shop local we support

  • Family, friends, Neighbors
  • Our non-profit Organizations receive greater support
  • Community Investment: it creates character in which that business resides
  • You matter more.

When we support Bahamian Brands

  • Enable small- scale producers to prosper.
  • Help Bahamians to support retail stores rather than shopping online.
  • Grow entrepreneurship, innovation and diversify the local economy
  • It’s Personnel and authentic to whom you are.
